Philip Barbagallo

Group Vice President, Bank Manager, Contact Center

Philip Barbagallo leads the Contact Center Team at M&T Bank. Philip has 20 years of banking experience, and his current responsibilities include guiding the leadership team for the Contact Center, a team of 700 bankers working directly with our customers to provide outstanding customer experience across M&T’s footprint through assisted phone and digital interactions. Prior to this role, he has held multiple positions at M&T Bank and MBNA America, including leadership positions in performance enablement, product management, marketing, channel management, sales leadership, and analytics.

Philip earned his MBA from the University of Delaware, and holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Cognitive Science from Georgetown University. When he’s not in the office, Philip can often be found on the golf course (mostly finishing second in club championships) or spending time with his wife and two wonderful daughters.
